Donna, Yong, and Jomar at the Big Sur International Marathon 2009

Donna Cruz and her husband Dr. Yong Larrazabal III participated in the Big Sur International Marathon 2009 held in Monterey, California, USA. Donna participated in the 18-kilometer run category, finishing at 1:41:00. His brother Jomar Cruz, participating in his first marathon race, finished at 2:40:00.

The 2009 Big Sur International Marathon is a 26.2-mile race with around 4,300 participants, and is touted as the "best marathon in North America", the race having taken place in supposedly the most beautiful coastline of the world. February 14 is not just Valentines’ Day but of course our very own Donna’s birthday. A few days before her birthday, Donna traveled to Miami, Florida to meet her husband and support him in his 7 continents in 7 days prestigious world marathon race.
