Donna Cruz formally signs recording contract with Star Music Philippines. After almost 17 years, Donna returns to the recording industry after her last full LP “Hulog ng Langit” (in 1999 with Viva Records) with rival recording company Star Music Philippines (a division of ABS-CBN).

Another Hulog ng Langit album promo tour was held April 17, 2000 at SM City North Edsa. Donna performed a few songs and signed posters for her fans.
On September 19, 1998 Donna Cruz married her fiance Dr. Yong Larrazabal, an opthalmologist from Cebu. Donna and Yong got engaged February of the same year and after 7 months, they got married at the Basilica de San Sebastian Church in Manila. The reception
